Walking helps our health, mental wellbeing, environment and enhances the community. However, research shows that 41% of the 15.3 million English adults aged 40 to 60 walk less than 10 minutes continuously each month.
National Walk to Work Day is a chance to change up your routine, add a little more time to it, and see how a slower start to your day can lead to a more efficient life overall.
So on Friday 6 April set your alarm early, grab your trainers and make those first steps towards changing your daily schedule.
